I have had diarrhea daily, the pain in my left lower back subsided on Wednesday. I continue to feel lethargic, pain in left arm of site tender. I went to Hartford Hospital to receive the original blood draw order and to see if there was anything obscure in my system. On Sunday morning, 8/28/22 I woke up with facial swelling and left lower back pain in the kidney area. The Police officer stated Quest Lab closed at 1:00pm and they will follow up on Tuesday. The police officer was able to obtain an image of Paul on the security monitoring system in the waiting area of Quest and I was able to identify Robert. The police officer asked why I contacted them. I continued to have symptoms of left arm pain, dizziness, nausea. I requested Paul continue to sit with my in the Family Area until the police arrived. The Security Officer, Paul stated CHH is a separate entity of Quest Lab and they have limited camera monitoring of that area. I showed the Nurse Supervisor the site of the injection on my arm. The Nurse Supervisor of CHH, the Security Guard Paul and myself went into the Family area of the Emergency Room to discuss the matter. I drove to the Emergency Room entrance and went in the building to request to speak with a person in charge of the hospital and security to view the cameras of the incident. I left the Quest Diagnostic building, which is adjacent to the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. That is when she stated his last name and license number were confidential. I went to exit the area and stopped to ask the supervisor for Roberts Identification. I gathered my belongings and left the room. The Supervisor came in the room and began to take over the blood draw. ![]() Robert yelled back, I have been doing this for 10 years, he stated he cannot work with me, he stated I had a bad attitude and left the room and the area to no longer be seen again. I assertively asked Robert what he was doing, and if he knew what he was doing. I felt light-headed, dizzy and the pain continued to radiate up my arm. I looked down/turned my head (I had my had turned to not see the procedure) when I looked over, Robert had a plastic syringe in his hand, liquid and rubber was at the base of the syringe with clear liquid at the bottom, with the syringe still in my arm. Upon injection, I felt a pressure on the side, sensation up my left arm, to my shoulder and into the bridge of my nose. (Location of site images available for review). Phlebotomist’s name: Robert (last name not provided by the supervisor, she stated his last name and license number were confidential). Routine Blood Draw, PCP ordered, I scheduled the appointment on 8/26/22 via Quest Diagnostics near me search for 8/27/22.
